Jatinder Singh Jeetu is the renowned name of the Punjabi film industry. He started his career as an actor in 2001 with the film “Anokhe Amar Shahid Baba Deep Singh Ji” At the same time he got an opportunity to work with the director “Jaswinder Singh Chahal”. His interest increased after getting a huge exposure in the films.
Well, he was very passionate about acting and that is why he joined the NAATSHALA theatre in the young age. Beside this he was also keen interest for the cricket but due to some reasons he was unable to follow this field. After some time he got an opportunity to work the greatest artists like Gurcharan Singh Sodhi, Gurinder Makna, raj aulakh, Neeta Mohindra.
For the first time in 2005, Jeetu did a ramp walk on the Mr. SINGH INTERNATIONAL’S Stage and after that, he got multiple offers of branding shows like Singh And Kaur, MR. Punjab, Mr. North, Mr. Amritsar, Sada Punjab and won numerous awards as well. Apart from that in 2017, he choreographed the stage of Mr. Singh International and got lots of appreciation from the Bollywood director “Madhur Bhandarkar. After that, he choreographed several stages including Mr. Singh International 2009 and 2012.
After that, he moves to the city of dreams “Mumbai” and luckily he worked in the several astonishing serials including Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Lo Ho Gyi Pooja Is Ghar Ki, Sarhad, Guest house, and Mohe rang de and so on. Being the proud part of a Sikh family, he got several offers to trim his hair for the films but he refused to do it. he was never ready to stop follow his dreams.
Then he undertakes to try his luck in the direction. Jeetu struggled a lot while living in the Mumbai and worked with the prestigious director like Ravinder Gautam, Naginder Chauhan, Abhinav Kashyap and follow their direction to achieve his dreams. Also, he worked as a news reader and anchor for chardikala time tv, Sikh channel and American base channel “Punjab1TV” because of his working experience, people consider him as a working machine.
He also directs a Punjabi short movie “love you papa” in 2010. and feature film “kirdar e sardar” in 2017, this film blockbuster hit and people appreciate his work even in era of lockdown due to covid he still completed his film “jaanu unmarried” in 2020 with very low budget and launched new comers. With this project Jeetu proved that even with low budget we can plan movie also.
After that, he launches his recording studio “Jeet Recordz” and till now he completed approximately more than 1000 projects which include music videos, school Ad films, short film serials, feature film, stage shows and so on. Also, he edits several dubbed songs and got nominated and won several awards. Currently he is doing tv show named lights camera and chakk deo fatte on chardhikla time tv. If we talk about direction Jeetu won’t consider the money but he only focused on concept of the project Now Mr. Jatinder Singh Jeetu known as the top and prominent directors of the Punjabi industry.
